There are several ways you can find organisations and services related to children and young people on the Devon Family Service Directory.
A-Z Search
The A-Z listings display matching categories, organisations and services. Select the appropriate letter. Then you can view an organisation’s or service’s details by selecting the name of the organisation or service.
Keyword Search
On the left hand side of the screen you will find a search box titled "Search the Directory", from which you can perform a simple search. Type in one or more keywords and press the “Search” button to list all the organisations and services that meet your search criteria.
When searching for a term or combination of two or more words, type the words in quotation marks in the search box to get the most relevant information, e.g. "Child Protection".
When you wish to broaden your search to retrieve items containing various possible spellings of words you can use the wildcard search. For example, to search for "Child", "Children" and "Children’s" you can use the search:

Advanced Search
If you wish to be more specific with your search then use this option. Select a category from the drop down menu and press the “Go” button. A sub-category drop down menu will then appear. Select a sub-category from this menu and if necessary fill in the other text boxes (this search allows you to fill in as many or few text boxes as you require). Then select the "Search" button to produce a list of all the organisations and services that meet your search criteria.
